Inventoryze ("we", "us", "our") is a home inventory app that helps you catalog and find the items you own. We take privacy seriously and keep the data we collect to the minimum we need to operate the service.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — your email address, and optionally your display name, when you sign up with Apple, Google, or email.
• Inventory data — the items, photos, tags, and notes you create, stored in your private account.
• Device data — diagnostic information (crash logs, app version, OS version) used only to keep the app stable.

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to provide and improve Inventoryze: authenticating you, syncing your inventory across your devices, sharing an inventory with household members you invite, and troubleshooting problems.

3. AI photo processing

When you add an item by photo, the photo is sent to our AI provider to extract a name, brand, and tags. The provider processes the image transiently to generate a response and does not use your photos to train their models.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers required to run Inventoryze (authentication, storage, AI, analytics, crash reporting), and only to the extent needed. You control household sharing: items in a shared household are visible only to members you explicitly invite.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app; this permanently removes your inventory and personal data from our systems.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].

7. Children

Inventoryze is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes to this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
